A customs brokerage firm (agencia aduanal) is a legal entity (company) authorized by SAT to conduct customs clearance on behalf of importers and exporters. It was created by the Customs Law reform as a complement to the traditional individual customs broker figure. These firms must meet capitalization, technological infrastructure, certified personnel, and SAT guarantee requirements. They can operate across multiple customs offices simultaneously.
