Compliance steps

Obtain from SENASICA the specific zoosanitary requirements sheet for the product and country of origin.

Verify approved establishment

Confirm the exporting establishment is on SENASICA's approved plants list.

Obtain zoosanitary certificate

Request the international zoosanitary certificate from the official veterinary service of the exporting country.

Present at OISA

Present all documentation at the Agricultural Health Inspection Office at the point of entry.

Inspection and determination

SENASICA performs documentary and physical inspection, including sampling if applicable.

Penalties for non-compliance

Shipment return, merchandise destruction, fines up to 75,000 UMA, and suspension of the exporting establishment from SENASICA's approved list.
