Step-by-step import process

Obtain safety NOM

Certify the TV per NOM-001-SCFI with an accredited body.

Energy efficiency NOM

Get NOM-032-ENER certificate with energy efficiency label.

IFT registration

Register the device with IFT if it has a TV tuner or communication capability.

Tariff classification

Classify by technology (LCD, OLED), screen size, and features.

Customs verification

Verification of NOM and IFT certificates at point of entry.

Customs clearance

Pay duties and VAT. TVs may have 0-15% duty.
