Unlike AI, which makes complex decisions, RPA follows predefined rules to automate structured processes such as copying data between systems, filling forms, and generating reports.
Combining RPA with AI—known as intelligent automation or hyperautomation—enables not only executing mechanical tasks but also making contextual decisions, such as classifying goods or detecting document anomalies, multiplying the productivity impact for a customs brokerage.
