MNVA Number

National Customs Value Declaration Number assigned by VUCEM upon validation and acceptance of an MVE signed by the importer.
What Is the MNVA Number?
The MNVA Number (Manifestación Nacional de Valor Aduanero) is the unique identifier that VUCEM assigns to each Electronic Value Declaration (MVE) once it has been validated and accepted. This number is essential for completing the pedimento: the customs broker must declare the MNVA alongside the COVE number. Without the MNVA, the pedimento cannot be filed with customs.
Examples
- After signing the MVE, VUCEM returns MNVA 2026-03-0012345, which the importer sends to the customs broker for inclusion in the pedimento.
- The customs broker cannot transmit the pedimento because the importer has not yet provided the MNVA number from the MVE.
