Important notes

Sunglasses classify under heading 9004.10. The duty is 15% IGI. Brand-name sunglasses are subject to customs authenticity checks. Prescription lenses have a different classification (9004.90). Sunglasses imported from Italy (where Ray-Ban is manufactured) may benefit from the Mexico-EU trade agreement.
