Chapter 97 covers paintings, sculptures, engravings, lithographs, postage stamps, coin collections, antiques over 100 years old, and original art objects. Mexico has a rich artistic heritage and regulations to protect cultural patrimony. Pre-Hispanic antiques cannot be imported or exported.
