Chapter 93 covers firearms, edged weapons, air guns, ammunition, parts, and accessories. Mexico has the strictest arms regulations in Latin America. Only SEDENA can authorize weapons imports through a single official store (DCAM).

Import notes and tips

ALL weapons imports require SEDENA authorization. Weapons can only be legally purchased at DCAM (Arms and Ammunition Marketing Directorate). Low-power air guns have lighter regulations. Ammunition requires special permits. Carrying weapons requires a SEDENA license.
