Chapter 85

Electrical machinery and equipment; sound and TV equipment

Chapter 85 is the second largest in the HS. It covers electric motors, transformers, generators, batteries, electrical cables, cell phones, TVs, cameras, LEDs, semiconductors, integrated circuits, solar panels, and telecommunications equipment. Mexico imports and assembles enormous volumes of electronics.
