Dairy, eggs, honey and edible animal products

Chapter 04 covers milk and dairy products, eggs, natural honey, and other edible animal products not covered elsewhere. Mexico is a major importer of powdered milk, cheese, and butter, mainly from the U.S., New Zealand, and the EU. Dairy products are subject to tariff-rate quotas and strict sanitary regulations.
